June 2, 1986 - David Riesop found a 1" Iron Pipe marking the corner. The pipe had apparently been set in 1978 by the Fish and Wildlife Service in their survey of the wildlife production area. The corner had been set on a straight line at one half the distance between the adjacent section corners. This method, bearing and distance of the line agree very closely with the location of this corner by Marcy in 1892 (vol. 5, page 206, blue book). The pipe was accepted as the location of the corner. August 4, 1999 - Robert Talarczyk found a 1" Iron Pipe reference by Riesop on the 1986 tie sheet. The pipe was accepted and ties established. (j) I, Kevin C.
