Doyle found a 6"x6" limestone monument with the top portion broke off about 20" <br /> below the top of blacktop pavement and about 3' east of the centerline of CTH MM. A 1" x 1 3/8"steel bar with <br /> the top 8" bent toward the south was also found about 16" below the top of blacktop at the south face of the <br /> stone. (The top of the bar broke off when it was attempted to be straightened.) Doyle set a Dane County <br /> aluminum monument on top of the broken stone. A water valve access casting was set in concrete around the <br /> monument. <br /> November 1, 2011 - Donald Barnes found a survey spike and two reference monuments set by Doyle and <br /> accepted the spike as the perpetuation of the original limestone monument. <br /> (j) I, Kevin C.
