A Dane County Stainless Steel monument was set at the intersection of the <br /> North-South and East-West quarter lines for Section 9 approximately 18" below the existing grade. The <br /> location was in the middle of a field east of Flint Road. The location was consistent with a survey by J. Michael <br /> Clayton on April 21, 1980 as survey no. M144-L with distances to the adjacent section corners. No records <br /> were found for the corner.
