A Dane County Stainless Steel monument was set at the intersection of the <br /> North-South and East-West quarter lines for Section 2. The location was in a tree line between 2 fields and fell <br /> approximately 4'west of old fence remnants. The location appeared consistent with other surveys in the area <br /> using the North-South quarter section line. No records were found for the corner.
