(e) Describe any material discrepancy between the location of the corner as restored or reestablished
and the location of that corner as previously restored or reestablished by distance and direction. Show
the discrepancy in the sketch on sheet 1.
None
(f)Was the corner restored through acceptance of(1)an obliterated evidence location, or(2)a found
perpetuated location?
A found perpetuated location.
(g&h)Was the corner reestablished through proportionate methods? If so, show the method, including
the directions and distances to other public land survey corners used as evidence or used for
proportioning in determining the corner location?
Not Applicable.
(i) List all previous Monument Records found, previously filed for the subject corner, including
monument types set or found, surveyor, and date of survey.
July 10, 1989 -George Weir set a Dane County monument by single proportional measurement between the
NE and NW corners of Section 12. The true corner position has been in doubt in old survey records Vol. 1, Pg
219 and Vol. 5, Pg 500 & 522. They show that the corner was established by Hough in 1855 and this position
later rejected by Drake in 1870 who established the corner equal distance between the NE and NW corners.
The corner position by Drake also accepted by Graves in 1880. I did not dig for this corner because records
show this corner was not set in the concrete pavement by Hintze because he was not sure of its position. (See
Vol. 5, Pg 523 old survey records.)
(j) I, Kevin C. Lord Affix Land Surveyor Seal
hereby, certify that the corner location shown on
this record was determined by me or under my . . ' . . ,
direction and correct and that this U.S. Public • s C Q NS, ••
Land Survey Monument Record is correct ;•
complete to the best of my knowledge and belief.
• KEVIN C. •
• LORD
* S-2645 :
MADISON,
WIS.
/4/7 - •,0 SURV ' ••%
Signature Date
