May 5, 1977 - Glen Northrop accepted the 2" Pipe Post found at the Southeast 1/4 corner of Section 35 after measurements from the SE corner of Sec. 36 was found to agree closely with an 1874 resurvey by Edward Ruger, recorded in Vol. 2, P. 86 of the Rock County Original County Surveyors Records. Distance measured 80.763 chains compared to Ruger's 80.69 chains. June 10, 2009- Donald Barnes found the 2" Iron Pipe post at the Southwest 1/4 corner of Section 36 and the corner for the Northwest corner of Section 1, Porter Township, Rock County. Barnes did not accept the post at the Southwest 1/4 corner of Section 36 due to some measurement discrepancies from original surveys. (j) I, Kevin C.
