Two of the reference ties set by Riesop were recovered and checked well. The origin of <br /> the Iron Bar is not for sure. Surveys in the area mention both recovering the PK Nail and the Iron Bar. A PK <br /> Nail may have existed above the Iron Bar at some point but I found no evidence of who set the Iron Bar. The <br /> location of the 5/811 Iron Bar in Tower Road was accepted as the section corner based on verification of the <br /> existing ties and being used in recent surveys in the area.
