The <br /> request states that the billboard sign will have 600 square feet of copy area. <br /> Under Dane County Code of Ordinances (DCCO) Section 10.74(6), Billboards <br /> shall have a maximum size of 300 square feet and be erected to a height not to <br /> exceed 35 feet above the centerline of the adjacent highway at the location of <br /> the sign, with a minimum distance of 300 feet between signs and a total copy <br /> area not to exceed 300 square feet per sign. <br /> Given that the request is for a 600 square-foot billboard sign and the maximum <br /> size per DCCO 10.74(6) is 300 square feet, I must deny your application for the <br /> construction of the billboard sign. <br /> If you feel aggrieved by this denial, you may appeal this decision to the Dane <br /> County Board of Adjustment within 30 days of the date of this letter. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Roger Lane <br /> Dane County Zoning Administrator <br /> Enclosure <br /> Copy of DCCO 10.74(15) <br /> Original permit application with plans <br />
