MuellerActing Park Director <br /> SUBJECT: Zoning Petition #4732 <br /> It has been brought to my attention that the land being <br /> considered for rezoning under the application is part of the <br /> planned route for the Ice Age Trail. <br /> Dane County Parks will be assisting the State of <br /> Wisconsin and the Ice Age Park & Trail Foundation in their <br /> efforts to establish the trail as outlined in the recently <br /> adopted resolution. <br /> It is my understanding that the Ice Age Park & Trail <br /> Foundation could play an active role in attempting to <br /> preserve a trail corridor through the property under <br /> consideration. <br /> Based on this I would respectively request that the <br /> Committee consider deferring action on this rezoning request <br /> until the Ice Age Park & Trail Foundation has an opportunity <br /> to meet with the land owner. <br /> Thank you for your consideration. <br /> ks <br /> cc Richard J.
