TOWN OF DUNN - 4156 COUNTY ROAD B, McFARLAND, WI 53558
Website: www.town.dunn.wi.us
E-mail: townhall@town.dunn.wi.us
July 13, 2004
Dane County Planning & Development
Room 116 City -County Bldg
210 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.
Madison, WI 53709
Phone: (608) 255-4219
Fax: (608) 835-5700
Re: Re-application for Variance Request involving vacation of Kegonsa Boulevard
Gentlemen/Ladies:
The Town of Dunn was granted a variance (Appeal 3223) on behalf of the owners of lots
20A through 31A of Rock Elm Park Extension. In 2002 the town vacated the platted
Kegonsa Boulevard and extended the driveways of the property owners to Barber Drive.
These lots were platted in the early 1900 and are non -conforming in lot width for lakeshore
lots. The property owners had certified survey maps done to combine the vacated road area
with their existing lots. This is an improvement to the previous conditions and brings these
lots closer to compliance with the current standards. Unfortunately four of the property
owners failed to record their certified survey maps within the deadline established by the
county ordinance. Therefore, I hereby request reconsideration and reapproval of the variance
granted in 2002 so the property owners of Lots 21A, 26A, 27A and 3 1 A of Rock Elm Park
Extension can complete their process of certified survey map approval. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Rosalind Gausman
Clerk Treasurer
Enc.
01
