The property in sections 20 & 30 was owned by Fred H, Witte & Sons, Inc., and <br /> totaled approximately 238 net acres, as of May 15, 1982. The property in section 29 was also owned <br /> by Fred H, Witte & Sons, Inc., and totaled approximately 33 net acres, as of May 15, 1982. <br /> For the 33 acre portion,nothing has changed since the last density study which was done in 2003. <br /> There are no RDUs remaining from that original farm. I've included a copy of the 2003 density <br /> study for your reference. <br /> The larger original farm had seven RDUs, three of which have been used, so four RDUs are <br /> remaining. See the attached density study report for more detail. <br /> Please note that this density analysis does not guarantee Town or County approval of a particular <br /> land division,rezone, or development proposal. The Town of Cottage Grove Plan Commission and <br /> Board of Supervisors review all applications to rezone, and apply standards and criteria as set forth in <br /> the Town comprehensive plan to guide their decisions. Also the Town of Cottage Grove has a <br /> Transfer of Development Rights (TDR)program.
