,4787 / 831 <br /> PETITION TO REZONE LAND IN DANE COUNTY <br /> Date: May 8, 1990 <br /> Re: Tax Parcel No. 20-02-44. 1 <br /> Lot 1 , CSM 3736 Town of Montrose <br /> We are submitting this combined application to request <br /> approval on two zoning matters, each of which is identified <br /> and described below. A certified survey map and building <br /> lay-out are attached for reference. <br /> 1 . Reauest for rezoning from C-1 to C-2 of approximately <br /> three (3) acres of the 7 .5 acre parcel . <br /> We are requesting a temporary rezoning to C-2 , to begin <br /> as soon as approved and lasting through April , 1993, at <br /> which time we would want to return to C-1 zoning. The <br /> reason for the request is to enabl-e a current commercial <br /> tenant to be able to sell and service ( repair and <br /> maintain) trucks and related equipment, and also to store <br /> and display trucks in the exterior area, as shown on the <br /> attached maps. <br /> 2. Request for conditional use permit for watchman's <br /> apartment under C-2 rezoning. <br /> We are requesting a conditional use permit to enable the <br /> current watchman's apartment to continue. This is the <br /> only residential unit in the building, and is currently <br /> occupied by a single male adult whose lease runs through <br /> April , 1991 . <br /> Other current uses of the building include a retail gallery, <br /> a woodwork shop, an artist's studio, and two professional <br /> offices. Another proposed use is for a small restaurant. <br /> We have appeared at the Board of the Town of Montrose to <br /> present this request (5/1/90) , and have received the <br /> approval of the Board. <br /> Submitted by <br /> Steven W. and Eileen S.
