After reviewing the site plan I have
determined proposed removal and replace of the driveway, installation of a slab porch for entry into residence and
walkway, replacement of the deck, patio and screen porch, removal of existing impervious surfaces, and repair of
the existing boathouse will require a shoreland erosion control permit. This permit issued by Dane County Land and
Water Resources will be required prior to the issuance of a shoreland zoning permit.
This determination has been based net decrease of impervious surfaces of 170 square feet.
Prior to issuance of a shoreland zoning permit for the proposed development the following conditions must be
satisfied:
1. Obtain an approved shoreland erosion control permit from Dane County Land and Water Resources.
2. Obtain a highway access permit or written consent from the Dane County Highway Department for the
proposed driveway location.
Once the above conditions are satisfied your shoreland zoning permit will be issued with the following conditions:
1. No change of topography within 5 feet of the property lines unless expressly permitted by the Zoning
Administrator.
2. No new impervious surfaces within 75 feet of the OHWM of Lake Kegonsa.
3. All areas of existing impervious surface to be removed, as indicated on the site plan, shall be restored to a
vegetated state capable of infiltrating water.
4. Entry porch shall not be covered unless a variance is obtained from the Dane County Board of Adjustment.
Once a shoreland zoning permit is approved you may apply for a regular zoning permit to permit the replacement of
the screen porch and deck, and stairs.
Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions or further information.
210 Martin Luther King Jr.Blvd.+City-County Bldg,Room 116•:•Madison,WI 53703-3342+Phone:608.266.4266❖Fax:608267.1540
H:\Zoning\Shoreland-Wetland Zoning\SIIORELAND ZONING PERMITS\_Pending\Dunn\Dunn-23-Spanrie-DCPSHL-2016-00058.docx
Revision 03.18.2007
