Also,this approval will expire 3 years after the date of this letter if the work . covered by this approval is not completed and the building ready for occupancy within those 3 years. • This approval is based on the designer's statement that due to the existing soil conditions located on site frost heave will be minimal. The designer shall field verify that the soil on site is indeed not susceptible to frost heave. This approval does not imply that sufficient strength is provided by the block to block connections shown on the plans to resist the forces of a p tential frost heave. A copy of the approved plans,specifications and is letter shall be on-site during construction and open to inspection by authorized representatives of the D artment,which may include local inspectors.
