February 10, 1992 - David Riesop found nothing at the corner. Riesop reset its N-S position at the deed distance as recorded in V. 21, P. 93, from the centerline of the old Milwaukee and Prairie du Chein Railroad. Riesop set its E-W position by proration from the E 1/4 corner of Section 25, through an old stake found at the NW corner of the NE 1/4 -SW 1/4 found by Riesop in 1985. This location fits a measurement by Barton Vol. 5, P. 264 to the SW corner of 25 within 1.5 feet, and also fits the N-S fence at the center of Section 25 within 1 foot as split by equal distance method per Barton survey. Its location also agrees with forty corner fences to the West in Section 25. (j) I, Kevin C.
