Three of the <br /> previous reference ties as established by Birrenkott were recovered and checked well. It was noted that the <br /> previous tie sheet by Birrenkott had the north arrow oriented incorrectly and what is shown as north on the tie <br /> sheet is actually south. The location of the 2" Iron Pipe was accepted as the center of the section based on <br /> the verification of the existing reference ties and checks to the adjacent section corners.
