July 22, 1985 -Glen Northrop found a 1" I.D. iron pipe at a fence corner with the fences running east, west, and south. The pipe appears to be the corner used in numerous CSM's made since about 1970 and is accepted for this corner based on old fence evidence and the 1934 survey notes in Fieldbook 97, P. 20 where a distance was measured from this corner west 2115' to the center of highway (now CTH N)which now measures 2114.85'. There was also an 1871 survey by S.W. Graves which used this corner but did not identify any monument, reference Blue Books Vol. 5, P. 540. (j) I, Kevin C.
