Lane,Zoning Administrator,we confirm the following.
We own the lot #8177 in Blue Mounds, designated as parcel RH3 on the map of your Notice of Public
Hearing dated June 28, 2016.We are direct neighbors of Rezone 10997 being petitioned by Reisell LLC on
S of 10656 Mayflower Road.We learned about the Rezone petition through your Notice.
We hereby express our opposition to petition for Rezone #10997 on the meeting of June 28 at 6:3opm in
room 201 of the City-County Bldg,in Madison, unless our request is satisfied by Reisell LLC.
The rezoning provides an opportunity to create a pathway to the back of our property between the two lots
RHi and RH3. In the future if we build an annex in the back of our property(RH3),such pathway will be
crucial, because we cannot have traffic going in front of our house.Traffic could not go either between
RH3 and RH4 because of a small hill and a pond.We tried to explain that to Mrs Reisdorf the nice way.
We called Mrs Reisdorf and requested that she sells us a 3o to 8o feet wide piece (less than half an acre)of
her new parcel along our property to enhance access to the back of our property. This will be crucial in
case our own rezoning is permitted in a few years, as Mayflower Road gets more populated.
If we can build an annex or if we sold the back land of RH3 in the future, there will be no access otherwise,
as the path would have to go in front of our house between two buildings and would divide our property
(which is RH3 on the map,lot #8177). Other arguments in favor of having a buffer zone between the new
construction by Reisell LLC and our house are silence, proximity, landscaping, and visibility very close to
our property.
We called Roger Lane,Zoning Administrator in Dane County Planning&Development. Requesting a
small part of the rezoning as an extension of our land(RH3)is possible and easy to do.We would pay the
surveyor(Williamson Surveying, io4A W. Main Street,Waunakee WI 53597) and pay for the acreage at a
fair price, considering this would not be constructible land.A draft revision of the survey could be drafted
quickly and we could take care of the final map,if the Reisel LLC agreed to it.
This is a political decision for peace of mind, which may reveal crucial for the future of Mayflower Road.
The extension would be less than half an acre.Would you please support our respectful request for this
extension?
Thank you very. uch fo our kind understanding,
L;a4f#3`i
Francois V.Tochon
CC LLC,Julie Reisdorf, Blue Mounds
Town of Blue Mounds,Town Hall, 10,566 Blue Vista RD, Blue Mounds,WI 53517
