To obtain your Dane County Zoning Permit, you will need to bring your permit application printout, <br /> along with your site plan, floor plans, and any preliminary permits required (such as Sanitary Permits <br /> and Driveway or Access Permits)to the Dane County Zoning office in person. Please review the steps <br /> on the Zoning Permit webpage for updated information. <br /> 2. The Zoning office is located in Room 116 of the City-County Building (Dane County Courthouse)at 21C <br /> Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. in downtown Madison (Map) <br /> 3. You may set up an appointment with the Inspector who contacts you, to avoid waiting in line at the <br /> Zoning counter. <br /> 4. Please be advised that additional information or other permits issued by Dane County Zoning (such as <br /> Erosion Control or Stormwater Management Permits) may be needed before a Zoning Permit may be <br /> issued. <br /> 5. In most cases, a Building Permit must be issued by your Town Building Inspector or Town Clerk before <br /> construction may begin.
