Description: Section 24, Township <br /> 7 North, Range 6 Fast, Dane Co. , approximately 1 mile north of Mineral Point Rd. <br /> on the westside of Hwy. 78. <br /> Payne & Dolan, Inc. has been awarded the contract for the bituminous paving <br /> of STH 78. Project #'s 5600-00-02, 5600-00-73, 5600-02-72, 5600-03-72 & <br /> 5926-03-71 . <br /> This project start at Hwy. 14 and runs south into Mt. Horeb. <br /> Payne & Dolan, Inc. intends to erect a portable asphalt plant at this site <br /> for the purpose of producing asphalt to be used on Hwy. 78 project. The <br /> aggregate will be hauled in from another source. <br /> The state has the option to finish the project in the fall of 1990, or to <br /> place a portion of the final surface course in the spring of 1991 . If the state <br /> chooses to put the final surface course on in 1991 , we would not complete the <br /> project until June 1 , 1991 . <br /> This area is currently zoned R.H. 4. This site is an open & level area, <br /> and is close to the quarry.
