The <br /> location appears within a gas easement area based on the clearing and gas markers. The corner was <br /> established by Riesop in CSM No. 5116 as equi-distant from the 1/4 corners as per the 1857 survey by Hough <br /> in Blue Book Vol. 2, Page 31. The iron bar has since been used for CSM No. 10279. The location of the 3/4" <br /> Iron Bar was accepted as the corner based on the use in previous surveys and distances to adjacent section <br /> corners.
