49&
T0: PERRY TOWN BOARD
RE: REZONING PAUL BRADISH Ha ESTEAD AND ACERAGE
TAX PARCELS: 22-0506-204-9680-2 AND 22-0506-204-9325-2
I purchased the property located at Route 2 Highway 78 South,
MT. Horeb in July of 1976. At the time of purchase, the property
consisted of a home, garage, two small outbuildings and 1.49
acres of land. At the time of closing a survey of the property was
present and my attorney told me that all legal papers were in order.
Since my goal was to do some small scale farming, I immediately
began inquiring about purchasing more land. When the (Milestone) farm
next to my property came up for sale, I attempted to buy a part of
it but the owners wanted to sell the entire parcel.
In 1985, I met with Dick Steffes (present owner of the Milestone farm)
to talk about buying same acerage that included pasture land and woods.
We walked off a parcel that I assumed was 30-40 acres and then hired
a surveyor to determine the exact acerage. The survey showed the
acerage including my 1.49 acres was about 32 acres.
I was not aware until recently that the property needed to be rezoned
to become a legal parcel. Therefore, I would like to appeal to
the town board to rezone this parcel from A-1 to A-2. My intent for
this parcel has been and is now strictly agricultural. I will gladly
do whatever necessary to complete this rezoning so I can be in
compliance with the law. Would you please consider rezoning this
parcel from A-1 to A-2 at one of your future board meetings.
0
Paul Bradish
