To whom it may concern, <br /> My husband and I would like to open a bed and breakfast establishment in <br /> our home at 3804 Vinburn road, DeForest, WI. Our request is to have a <br /> zoning change to 81 and a conditional use permit (CUP_) to be restricted <br /> for the operation of a bed and breakfast facility. <br /> We enjoy meeting people and can help them plan activities while they are <br /> visiting in our state. We own a farm in Windsor township. It is a quiet <br /> agricultural area with beautiful sunsets. On a clear day the State capital <br /> dome is visible from our front lawn. We are located approximately ten miles <br /> north of Madison. It is a forty five minute drive to Wisconsin Dells, Devils <br /> Lake, Circus World Museum, Cave of the Mounds, and the Horicon Wildlife Refuge. <br /> Located within a shorter traveling distance one can visit American Breeder <br /> Service, Antique Malls, the State capital and a local golf course. The Spring <br /> Green area, home of the world renowned architect, Frank Lloyd Wright is within <br /> an hours driving distance, as well as the House on the rock. Lakes in our <br /> area provide for the summer recreational activities with skiing and snowmobil- <br /> ing in the winter months. <br /> We would like to utilize our existing home as we have vacant bedrooms and a <br /> bathroom on the second floor. A window located in the hall will provide <br /> emergency exit • to the flat roof of an attached garage. A bed and breakfast <br /> establishment would utilize our large home and provide some added revenue. <br /> The land is used for crop production and the farm buildings are used for the <br /> rearing of livestock. <br /> Adequate parking is available in the existing driveway. The facility will <br /> not require any additional municipal services, or place any burden on the <br /> educational system in the community. <br />
