T8N, R9E <br /> Dear Norbert : <br /> We are in receipt of a copy of the Regional Plan <br /> Commission comments on our rezoning petition. This parcel is <br /> in the RFC Planning Analysis Unit 38 . In their March 1989 <br /> Central Urban Service Area Analysis , the RCP designated this <br /> analysis unit as an area suitable for City of Middleton <br /> expansion. and I quote . Area 38 provides sufficient space <br /> for the short-term expansion of the City of Middleton" . In <br /> the light of this fact . we are disturbed by the recently <br /> received comments strongly stating that this land is an <br /> agricultural preservation area and that our rezoning request <br /> is inconsistent with the plan. If it is seen as Middleton <br /> expansion and development , and since the City of Middleton <br /> has approved the preliminary plat as prepared (see attached <br /> minutes) , then approval of our proposal is not out of line <br /> with the proposed growth patterns . <br /> It should also be pointed out that our parcel of land is <br /> separated from the major part of Analysis Unit 38 by single <br /> family residential zoned RH3, R-1 . RH-1 , and A-2 . Based on <br /> these facts . we respectfully request approval of our Petition <br /> 4507 and the preliminary plat . <br /> Sincerely . <br /> Don E. Mayo. P .
