DANE COUNTY APPLICATION FOR REZONE Item No.: 4.
Zoning Petition # 4525 By: Gary E. Thalacker to change the zoning from
the A-1 Ex. Agriculture district to the RH-3 Rural Homes district.
Location: North of 156 Edgerton Road Section 34, SE 1/4 NW 1/4 & NE 1/4
SW 1/4 Town Albion Area: 9 more or less Acres
Proposed use: Residence with limited livestock D.E.D. Yes.
ANALYSIS:
CONCERNS EXPRESSED AT/AFTER PUBLIC HEARING:
STAFF COMMENTS:
R.P.C. — Petition #4525. This proposed residential lot is in the agricultural
preservation area of the Town of Albion where the density policy is one
lot per 40 acres. The RH-3 parcel to the west had been previously
divided from the 50-acre parcel. Thus, no further division would be
allowed unless the plan were amended. CUP #743 to the east was recently
approved for mineral extraction. Further residential development could
cause use conflicts.
E.H.D. —
Petition 4525 No objection to this petition. Consideration should be
given to procedures for animal waste removal and pest control practices
if limited livestock use is allowed.
Co. Hwy. —
