Town of Springfield <br /> DANE COUNTY, WISCONSIN <br /> September 6, 1989 <br /> Dane County <br /> Land Regulation & Records <br /> Room 116, City-County Bldg. <br /> Madison, WI 53709 <br /> ATTN: Bill Fleck & Norm Scribner <br /> After calling a special meeting of our Planning Committee <br /> on September 5, 1989 the following recommendations were made <br /> in regards to the Tom Pertzborn farm. AS you may be aware of <br /> he is scheduled to appear at his public hearing on Sept. 12 , <br /> 1989 . He wants to sell off approximately 140 acres of his <br /> farm and retain about 20 acres including the house and <br /> out buildings for himself . The town would ideally like to keep <br /> this land zoned as A-1 verses A-2 , which does not protect <br /> us from all the conditional uses that go along with A-2 . <br /> However, since the County is lacking in any other zoning <br /> catergory to deal with these situations that involve less <br /> than 35 acres, we are forced to recommend RH-4 zoning. <br /> This at least protects the "towns plan" against further <br /> development on Ag. land. <br /> Mr. Pertzborn was present at this special meeting and is <br /> agreeable to this recommendation. <br /> We will not allow it to be zoned as A-2 . <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Springfield Town Board <br /> Sherri Endres, CLerk <br /> se <br /> sEP 0 71989 <br /> ZONING DIV. <br />
