PETITION <br /> TO: DANE COUNTY ZONING COMMITTEE <br /> OCTOBER 12th,1989 <br /> WE, THE UNDERSIGNED,DO FAVOR THE RE-ZONING PETITION # 4590 . <br /> We understand this petition is intended to change the land <br /> from the Exclusive Agriculture status to a blend of R-1A, RH- <br /> 1,R-3A; and further that the C-i is to be amended per the <br /> Township and Village Board requests to the A-2 zoning status. <br /> We favor this rezoning for the following reason(s) : <br /> 1 . Provide a second access road to serve the Village . <br /> 2. Reduce the present congestion on Main Street. <br /> 3. Provide a safer traffic pattern within the Village . <br /> 4. Promote orderly residential developement near town. <br /> 5 . Offer a diversity in housing opportunities. <br /> 6 . Expand the tax base & decrease the tax rate which is <br /> currently one of the highest in the County. <br /> 7. Draw more school age students to help reduce the 35- <br /> 40% excess facilities capacity thereby decreasing the <br /> high operating cost per pupil as now exists. <br /> 8.
