RESOLUTION NO. gq-01-61 <br /> TOWN OF RUTLAND <br /> DANE COUNTY, WISCONSIN <br /> WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Rutland has been <br /> asked to indicate its support of a proposed dog racing track <br /> located within the Town so that the owners may apply for a state <br /> racing license; <br /> WHEREAS, the Town Board has received extensive input from <br /> town residents and others regarding the proposed dog racing <br /> operation and has held a public hearing thereon; <br /> WHEREAS, the Town Board has carefully considered all of the <br /> information presented and the input received; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Board of the Town <br /> of Rutland as follows: <br /> 1. The Town Board supports the establishment of a dog <br /> racing track at the current racetrack site in the Town of <br /> Rutland, Dane County, whose street address is: 1122 Sunrise <br /> Road (Town of Rutland) , Oregon, Wisconsin 53575. <br /> 2. The Town Board approves the following persons and <br /> entities as owners and operators of the proposed dog racing <br /> track: Rutland Greyhound Park, Inc. , Archie Meinerz, Dennis <br /> Reeves, Lewis Herro, Wayne Strong, Harry Saul and Herbert <br /> Koerner. <br /> 3. This resolution of support is being adopted for <br /> purposes of the owners' application for a license under <br /> section 562.05, Wis. Stats. <br /> 1RUTLAND,F 1 <br />
