Town of Springfield
DANE COUNTY, WISCONSIN
DAVE RIPP, Clerk
7220 HIGHWAY 19
WAUNAKEE, WI 53597
9/22/88
S EP 2; 1988
Dane County Ag. Zoning
Norb Scribner Agent
LAN ,
Room 116
County Building
Madison, WI 53709
RE: CUP #689 Cyril Statz
Trucks useing this sand pit have caused extensive damage to the
Town Road serveing the Pit. Estimates to repair the road are
upwards of $25,000. 00 with considerable additional costs later
after the pit is closed.
We have negotiated a 5¢ per yard agreement for all sand leaveing
the pit to repair the road now and keep it repaired during t he
life of the pit. All users of the pit verbaly agreed to this .
All companies useing the pit with the exception of one have
signed agreements with the Town. The one is engaged in a
disagreement with the owner and will not sign until after the
disagreement is settled. We feel that it is not fair for the
rest to pay while one doesn't or for other companies to come
in in the future and not do their part.
Therefore , the Town of Springfield requests that you place a condition
on the CUP that only companies with a signed agreement with the
Town are allowed to remove sand under this CUP.
Thank You,
Dave Ripp, Clerk
I
