Page 1
January 6, 1989
Dane County, Zoning Department
210 Martin Luther King Blvd.
Madison, Wisconsin 53709
Subject: Application For Condition Use Permit
To Whom It May Concern,
We are hereby filing for a Conditional Use Permit for a Sunday School
addition and interior remodeling of an adjoining building into offices
for Hope Lutheran Church located at 3702 C.T.H. AB, Madison, Wisconsin.
Subject to receiving the required permits, we are planning on proceeding
with the new Sunday School addition in early spring of 1989, with the
interior remodeling of the existing adjoining building to take place
subsequent to the completion of the new building addition.
The Sunday School addition will provide additional space in which to
conduct sunday school classes and summer vacation bible school for the
childern and youth of our congregation. This will allow for the remodeling
of the adjacent Parish Hall building, which is currently being used for
sunday school classes, into needed office space for our pastor(s) and
office staff, along with a new church library area. These uses of this
property are consistent with the present use if the church property.
Immediately across C.T.H. AB, to the east, is a rural tavern and a small
single family house. The remainder of the surrounding properties are
agricultural.
