I se"I e�i■ <br /> DESCRIPTION: The Town of Springfield would like to add approximately 200 acres of land to Farmland Preservation <br /> Program. The properties are proposed to be rezoned to a zoning district (A-1 EX) that is certified to receive tax credits <br /> from the Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP). <br /> OBSERVATIONS: The properties in Section 27 contain cropland with Class II soils. The property is Section 7 <br /> contains cropland and the Pertzborn dairy operation. <br /> TOWN PLAN: The Town Comprehensive Plan is being revised to reflect the lands being included in the Agricultural <br /> Preservation Area. <br /> STAFF: The properties meet the dimensional standards of the zoning district and are consistent with the revised <br /> Town policies. See attached spreadsheet noting the exact parcels. <br /> TOWN: Approved by the Town Board on August 2, 2016. <br />
