RAEMISCH SONS, INC. <br /> Waunakee, Wisconsin 53597 <br /> Telephone 849-4563 <br /> October 11, 1988 <br /> Dear Mr. Louis Breuning: <br /> Regarding your complaint with the State of Wisconsin concerning the possible <br /> damage to your corn silos, we feel the major contribution to this damage may <br /> have been Mr. Fred Bindl of Spring Green and his most recent blasting attempt. <br /> We do not foresee any more blasting on our or Mr. Bindl's part any more of this <br /> calendar year 1988. We will probably blast in late March or April of 1989. <br /> When we do start up again in the spring of 1989, we will notify you and Badgerland <br /> Harvestor of Edgerton. Badgerland Harvestor will come out to your farm and inspect <br /> your silos after the blasting. Also, our explosive company who will actually be <br /> doing the blasting will set up a seismograph each and every time we blast to <br /> determine the extent of the vibrations. <br /> If it has been determined that we are causing damage, then the repairs on your <br /> silos will be paid by our firm immediately. Also, we will pay for any corn <br /> spoilage. If it has been determined that our blasting is not causing the <br /> damage to your silos after 4 consecutive blasts, then these tests will be discontinued. <br /> We also agree to paying you the sum of $ 3,062.34 in past repairs and corn spoilage. <br /> This amount will be paid equally by our firm and Mr. Fred Bindl. <br /> By agreeing to receiving a check for $ 3,062.34 and allowing us to monitor our <br /> blasting and paying for any damages, you agree to drop all complaints with the <br /> State of Wisconsin, Mine Safety Division and also agree to not contest the rezoning <br /> of our Kipply Pit area at the meeting of October 11, 1988 in Madison, WI. <br /> Any questions, please contact us at your convenience. <br /> Louis Breunig <br /> Franklin Raemisch <br /> Fre.
