Jeremy m W,nt, g E,o=Dane
Resources
Dept.
Balousek,
Date:X11416.18143132-0580'
RE: Forever Sandfill and Limestone—Stormwater Management Plan,
SM2014-0137
Associated Non-Metallic Mining Permit 74-120
The submitted stormwater management plan meets the needs of the site. The plan includes the
following conditions:
1. The site may only be accessed off Koshkonong Road using a constructed gravel drive and
a stone tracking pad. The pad must be a minimum of 50' long x 24' wide x 12"deep and
be constructed of 3-inch clear stone. No other site access may be used and material
deposited in the road will be cleaned up throughout and at the end of each workday.
2. The site is internally drained. All grading activity will proceed in a manner to preserve
the internal drainage of all runoff from disturbed areas. If at any time, runoff is allowed to
leave the site, addition controls and a revised erosion control and stormwater
management plan will be required.
3. Topsoil must be segregated from the overburden and will be stored in stockpiles. The
stockpiles will be contained within the internally drained portion of the site.
4. Grading must be confined to the areas shown on the plan.No material storage, vehicle
traffic or grading may occur in the areas identified as "undisturbed" or"vegetated buffer"
on the plan. In the event any of these areas are disturbed, additional erosion control
measures will be required.
This review is for the stormwater requirements of Chapter 14,Dane County Code of Ordinances
only and other approvals may be necessary.
Cc: Ryan Quam,P.E., Quam Engineering, LLC (email)
Dan Everson, Dane County Zoning Division(email and inter-d)
Lyman F.Anderson Agriculture&Conservation Center
5201 Fen Oak Drive,Room 208,Madison,Wisconsin 53718 -PH:608/224-3730,FAX:608/224-3745
www.countyofdane.com/lwrd/permit/
