Igl
4171 Rutland Dunn Road
Oregon, WI 53575
Telephone: 835-5556 or 873-8009
October 7, 1985
Dane County Zoning
City-County Building
210 Monona Avenue
Madison, WI 53703
Dear Sir or Madam:
Re: Request for zoning change
We respectfully request that the zoning, of the property described below, be
changed from AG-1 Exclusive to RH2.
Property description: Lot nos. 1 and 2 described as follows: A parcel of land,
being part of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 32, Town 6 North, Range 10 East, Town of
Dunn, Dane County, Wisconsin, more fully described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast Corner of said Section 32;
Thence West, 1199.64 feet to the Point of Beginning;
Thence continuing West, 511 .94 feet;
Thence N 2°g2'll " W, 1002.02 feet to the Centerline of Rutland Dunn Road;
Thence S 6g 10'51 " E, 604.40 feet along the Centerline of said Road;
Thence S 2'22'11 " E, 701 .22 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Copy of Certified Survey map, with Surveyor's Certificate, Description,
Dane County Agriculture, Zoning, Planning and Water Resources Committee, and Register
of Deeds, dated August 1977 attached. Copy of Town of Dunn 1984 Real Estate Tax
receipt, with Town descriptions of said parcels #14-32-781 .1 and #14-32-781 ,2, also
attached.
The property was purchased, by Land Contract, from Lester & Rose Gammeter,
April 21 , 1977. Since purchase it has been used for agricultural paaposes. Because
of increasing health problems, the property has been rented out for the past three years.
The rental income does not cover the RE taxes, so it has become economically impractical
to continue to hold the property. We are, therefore, currently attempting to sell the
property for rural homes, single family residences, for which it was originally intended
in 1977. It is our understanding that they were approved by Dane County Planning
Commission in 1977.
The re-zoning of the property from AG-1 Exclusive to RH2 will improve the potential
of selling the property, and will better classify it purpose.
This matter has been briefly discussed with the Town of Dunn Planning Committee.
Per information received from Mrs. Gausman, Town Clerk, there is no problem anticipated
with the Planning Committee re the re-zoning. The Planning Committee is scheduled to
meet on October 14, 1985. In order to facilitate procedures, this application is being
submitted to you prior to their final stamp of approval .
We trust that the above meets with your approval . Thank you.
Sincerel
Arnold . Igl
