The pits were for a <br /> preliminary assessment of the soil suitability only. The pits which <br /> were observed did appear free draining to the depths reported. <br /> While this initial observation did seem to indicate that <br /> further investigation may be fruitful, an official suitability <br /> report cannot be issued at this time.
