HWY. <br /> R.P. C. <br /> Petition =3593 <br /> The proposed rezoning is in the agricultural preservation area of the Town of <br /> Verona Land Use Plan. Plan policies include: "Non-farm residential development <br /> by certified survey in those areas with soils not classified as prime farmland <br /> at a density of one lot per 40 acre tract with a minimum lot size of two acres <br /> shall be permitted." <br /> The proposed rezoning is contrary to the town ' s plan policies. First, a seven <br /> lot plat is too large for a certified survey; second the west portion of the <br /> rezoning area is "prime farmland" soil and third with existing RH-1 zoning more <br /> lot divisions are allowed than provided for in the plan. <br /> 7.
