They are as follows: <br /> 1) . Effects of surface water run-off from mineral extraction site <br /> towards or onto the landfill area. <br /> 2) . Proposed method for dislodging and removal of materials for mineral <br /> extraction. Blasting to loosen the material could result in fracturing <br /> of the strata below the landfill causing seepage through the landfill <br /> liner. If there is no feasible alternative other than blasting the <br /> permit may be in jeopardy. <br /> 3) .
