I am
sure that the wetland area changes depending upon the yearly
rainfall . There is a 24" corrugated culvert pipe draining the
above land installed under the Kenworth roadway. On 1/31/86
this pipe was half filled with dirt. The culvert drains to
the South towards STH 19 along the East side of the
interstate and enters a waterway on the southwest side of STH
19 and I-90 & 94. In addition the Roske land has tile drains
that also drain to the same waterway West of the interstate
highway. A map of the drain field is also included .
Storm Water Runoff- Storm water drains to the culvert located
under Kenworth's roadway. The slope of the land from the
North is very slight. The pipe installed requires cleaning
and to provide sufficient waterway a second culvert should be
installed. I suggest that a 21" culvert be installed adjacent
to the existing 24". The ditch to the South should be cleaned
and some type of settling basin installed on the inlet side of
the culverts. This could be a depressed area that is located
in the present waterway between the Kenworth parcel and the
parcel to the East.
Surface Water Runoff- Present surface water drains from
North to South and West from Lake Rd. to the culvert under
the entrance road. There is a waterway extending from the
culvert to the North of the Kenworth property. This waterway
should be retained.
SURVEY AND DESIGN FOR MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENTS. WATERWORKS.
