As suggested in a recommendation made
earlier an additional 2111 diameter culvert should be installed
under the driveway to Madison Kenworth building.
In addition to prevent flooding due to a 50 year storm I
recommend a storage pond of 2 acre feet for the 49 acres of land
that drain southerly.
b) Dry season stream flow is presently being handled through
a drainage ditch to the South and can be continued to be used
with the addition of the pipe as mentioned above.
c) Any sediments that occur can be settled in the proposed
storage pond. Heavy metals and organic compounds are not a
problem at this site.
d ) There is no shore line that can presently erode .
Fill materials placed on the site can be placed and slopes
protected to control erosion.
e ) There is no spawning, breeding, nursery or feeding area.
SURVEY AND DESIGN FOR MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENTS, WATERWORKS.
