At the <br /> crane's site, the HLZO allows a maximum of 1076 ft above mean sea level (AMSL), while <br /> the crane would reach 1119 ft AMSL at full height, exceeding the maximum allowed by <br /> 43 ft. (See map.) <br /> Before erecting the crane to its full height, you will need permission from the Dane <br /> County Zoning Office. We are aware you are in contact with Kris Schutte, the assistant <br /> zoning administrator regarding a temporary variance. <br /> FAA Aeronautical Study is now in progress <br /> The FAA is now studying your proposal to determine its effect on air navigation at <br /> the airport. When the study is complete, they will issue a determination of <br /> compatibility with the airport. <br />
