The property is within a <br /> preservation area which limits non-farm residential development to 1 Residential <br /> Development Unit (RDU)per 35 acres of land owned as of May 15, 1982. This property <br /> was owned by George Hauge, and totaled approximately 79.2 net acres, as of May 15, <br /> 1982. Currently,there are two RDUs associated with this property. <br /> Please note that this density analysis does not guarantee Town or County approval of a <br /> particular land division, rezone, or development proposal. The Town of Cottage Grove <br /> Plan Commission and Board of Supervisors review all applications to rezone, and apply <br /> standards and criteria as set forth in the Town comprehensive plan to guide their <br /> decisions. Also the Town of Cottage Grove has a Transfer of Development Rights <br /> (TDR) program.
