Lane, III, <br /> determined that a location survey, as defined by Section 10.01(30m) of the Dane County Code of <br /> Ordinances (DCCO) is required for the pylon sign for Summit Credit Union. A LOCATION <br /> SURVEY CHECKLIST was provided to you on that date for your information. You returned a <br /> copy of Page 1 of 2 and not the completed portion of Page 2 of 2. <br /> The first item on the checklist is the requirement for a CONVENIENT SCALE. The scale on the <br /> TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEY is 1"= 20' if, as stated on the survey,the copy of the survey is <br /> 30"x 42." <br /> The eighth requirement of the location survey is that the SURVEYORS CERTIFICATE WITH <br /> STAMP OR SEAL AND SIGNATURE must be included on the location survey. <br /> The ninth requirement for the location survey is that the exact distance of the closest signpost to <br /> the nearest point of the right-of-way line for County Highway MM must be shown. <br /> The final requirement is to show elevation of the top of the sign, the elevation of the bottom of <br /> the sign, the elevation of the ground underneath the sign, and the elevation of the centerline of <br /> the County Highway MM. <br /> You are hereby instructed to submit the location survey, with the required data within 30 days of <br /> the date of this letter. Please contact the Dane County Surveyor, Mr. Dan Frick, 608-266-4252 <br /> for any specific questions you or your surveyor might have. Mr. Frick developed the checklist. <br /> Also the survey is to be submitted to the Dane County zoning inspectors for the Town of <br /> Madison, Mr. Hans J. Hilbert, 608-266-4993 or Mr. Charles H. Steinhauer, 608-266-0010. <br />
