Attached are the minutes of the meeting <br /> showing the denial of the application and the reasoning for which it was denied. <br /> Since July 2016,we have been working together towards gaining compliance for the violation of keeping too many <br /> livestock on your property. Inspections revealed that over 50 head of cattle are being kept on the property.As you <br /> know,the current zoning district for the property,A-2(4)Agriculture,only permits one animal unit per acre in <br /> accordance with Dane County Code of Ordinance No. 10.126(5)(b)2. Concerns have also been expressed by Dane <br /> County Land and Water Resources with regard to the improper storage of manure of the operation. <br /> The recent inspection conducted on December 12th identified 56 heads of cattle still on the property. A violation <br /> letter was sent to you on December 12th stating that the CUP would need to be approved or the animal units reduced <br /> to 7 within 10 days.Given the denial of CUP 2360 on December 13th,no more than 7 animal units may be kept on <br /> the property. <br /> A site inspection will be conducted on December 22,2016.If more than 7 animal units(heads of cattle)are <br /> counted,a citation will be issued immediately on that date. Future inspections will be scheduled daily. Each day <br /> found in violation,a separate citation will be issued. Every day in violation is considered a separate offense as <br /> found under Dane County Code of Ordinances Section 10.25(5).
