The existing <br /> Conditional Use Permit#2196 included a condition expiring the CUP upon sale to an unrelated third party. Applicant <br /> requests re-approval of the CUP. No changes in the operation of the racetrack are being proposed. A comprehensive <br /> deed restriction on the property governing the operation of the racetrack will remain in effect. <br /> OBSERVATIONS: The racetrack has been in continuous operation since the 1950s. The racetrack also hosts <br /> emergency vehicle training sessions. An area of wetlands is located on the southern %of the property. No new <br /> development is proposed. <br /> TOWN PLAN: The property is located in the town's commercial planning area. <br /> STAFF: The proposed CUP would comply with the town's requirement that a new CUP be issued upon a transfer of <br /> ownership for the racetrack. Operations would remain the same, and are covered by a comprehensive list of use <br /> restrictions found in document#5051009(see attached). The proposal is consistent with town plan policies. Staff <br /> recommends that the same conditions of approval for CUP 2196 be carried forward for CUP 2363. See below. <br /> TOWN: Approved with no conditions.. <br />
