Lane, Roger
From: Lane, Roger
Sent: Thursday, December 22, 2016 3:24 PM
To: 'Icoffin @mhtc.net'
Cc: Allan, Majid; Standing, Brian
Subject: FW:John Coffin (petition 11088)
Dear Mr.Coffin,
I understand that you are having issues with the development of the proposed site. As per our discussion, I will accept
the withdrawal of your petition. The application fee of$486 will be return to you as soon as the County Treasurer
processes the paperwork(two/three weeks).
Respectfully,
Roger Lane
Dane County Zoning Administrator
From: Allan, Majid
Sent: Thursday, December 22, 2016 3:04 PM
To: Lane, Roger
Cc: Standing, Brian
Subject: John Coffin (petition 11088)
Hi Roger,
I received a voicemail from John Coffin this afternoon regarding his rezoning petition 11088 in the town of Blue Mounds.
I had worked with John a couple months ago, but believe you took in his rezone application.
Anyways, in his message he mentioned something about the lack of visibility at the driveway entrance into the proposed
new parcel. I gather that it may have been county highways staff that did a site visit and made a comment to the effect
that they wouldn't approve a driveway in that location. He said that he may want to scrap the zoning petition as a result.
I'm happy to follow up with him, but suspect you've got a firmer grasp on his proposal and if there's anything to be done
to salvage it. Let me know. My recollection of his property is that there are some significant obstacles to development
on the property.
His number is 770-6559.Copying Brian in case he has any familiarity with this one.
Thanks,
Majid
1
