While we defend a person 's right to use his property as he chooses, <br /> we also agree with the principles of zoning which protect the rights of <br /> neighboring property owners from the potential impact of new development. <br /> It is our opinion that the development project will adversely impact on <br /> our neighborhood with increased air pollution from dust and diesel fumes, <br /> and increased noise pollution from all the truck traffic. We see this as <br /> a potential problem not only for the Bulmans, but also for those of us <br /> living east and south of the proposed development. • <br /> County Trunk Highway N, already a moderately heavily travelled highway, would <br /> experience an increase in traffic through Cottage Grove as trucks use it <br /> as a short cut from I-94 to T-90.
