A site inspection was conducted on August 27, 2008. It was <br /> observed that the chicken coop was built without a Dane County zoning permit and was <br /> constructed too close to the front lot line,the right-of-way line for Thorstad Lane. <br /> Under the Dane County Code of Ordinances, Sections 10.25(2)(a) and 10.17(3)(b), the chicken <br /> coop needs a Dane County zoning permit and the chicken coop must be located a minimum of 30 <br /> feet from the right-of-way line for Thorstad Lane. <br /> This letter serves as notice that your property at 3448 Thorstad Lane is in violation of the <br /> ordinance. The chicken coop needs a Dane County zoning permit and the chicken coop must be <br /> located a minimum of 30 feet from the right-of-way line for Thorstad Lane. <br /> You are hereby instructed to obtain a Dane County zoning permit and move the chicken coop a <br /> minimum of 30 feet from the right-of-way line for Thorstad Lane within 30 days of the date of <br /> this letter.
