Pursuant to the Zoning and Land Regulation Committee policy, any petition that is not acted upon within one year of the public hearing date will expire. The public hearing date for petition #10895 was October 27, 2015. This letter is to inform you that Petition Number DCPREZ-2015-10895 has exceeded the one- year timeframe without action by the Zoning and Land Regulation Committee. The petition has been rendered null &void. The petition was delayed due to the proposal being in conflict with the policies found in the Town of Dane Comprehensive plan. The comprehensive plan is in the process of being amended to allow the transfer of development rights from one farm to another. The amendments to the plan will be approved by the County Board on February 9th making the process complete. The town did not take formal action on your petition. I understand that the Town had concerns regarding the location of the driveway and possibly the location of the house associated with the zoning request. It is suggested that the concerns be discussed with the Town prior to submitting a new application. If you choose to pursue the zoning amendment for your property, a new application will need to be filed with the Dane County Zoning Division.
