NOTICE <br /> P.H. 6/10/86 PETITION <br /> • <br /> PETITION TO AMEND THE TEXT OF THE DANE COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE. <br /> TO THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS: <br /> Ladies & Gentlemen: <br /> The undersigned hereby petitions the Dane County Boa: <br /> of Supervisors to amend the text of the Zon,ing Ordinance as follows: <br /> • <br /> ITEM 1) . Amend Section 10.126(1) (a) as follows: <br /> 10.126 (1) Permitted Uses: <br /> (a) Agricultural Uses. The number of livestock or poultry shall <br /> not exceed one animal unit for each full acre of land (see Section <br /> 10.126(2) for unlimited livestock) . <br /> ITEM 2) . Renumber 10.126(1) (m) & 10.126(1) (n) to 10.126(2) (m) & 10.126(2) (n) . <br /> ITEM 3) . Create a new Section 10.126 (2) (o) as follows: <br /> • 10.126(2) (o) keeping of unlimited livestock and poultry. <br /> 1. The following standards, over and above the regular standards, <br /> shall apply. <br /> a. Appropriate manure storage and disposal shall be provided. <br /> b. Soil erosion on the property may not exceed "T-Value" as <br /> defined in the Wisconsin Edition, U.S. Department of <br /> Agriculture Soil Conservation Service Technical Guide. <br /> ITEM 4) . Self explanatory. <br /> The amendments will limit livestock and poultry to one (1) animal unit <br /> per each full acre in the A-2 District unless a conditional use permit <br /> has been granted.
