1. - J
` • a
JUL 7 1986
1005 Tipperary Road
Oregon, WI. 53575-2645
July 7, 1986
Dane County Zoning Department
City-County Building
Madison, WI. 53709
Re: David Weiman
Private Airstrip
C.U.P. *506
Dear Sirs:
We have no objections to the request of Mr. David Weiman for an
airstrip providing the following restrictions are placed on the
conditional use permit. We feel these restrictions are, in part,
necessary because our house is located approximately 190 feet
south and east of the proposed airstrip as drawn by Mr. Weiman in
the attached diagram.
1. The airstrip is to be classified as a personal airstrip,
to wit, only Mr. Weiman may use the airstrip.
2. This conditional use permit would become void if Mr.
Weiman should sell or transfer the property or move the airstrip
from its current location on his property.
3. All landings are to be made in a west to east direction
and all takeoffs in an east to west direction.
4. Mr. Weiman will continue to hangar his aircraft
elsewhere.
We feel these restrictions are reasonable as Mr. Weiman has
communicated to us that the only reason for the airstrip is so
that he may occasionally perform minor maintenance on his
aircraft such as washing and waxing.
Along with the above restrictions, we assume that Mr. Weiman will
be in compliance with all the regulations of all other agencies
or governing bodies, to wit, State of Wisconsin, Federal Aviation
Administration and Town of Oregon, that may have applicable
statutes or regulations concerning this matter.
Sincerely,
Richard L. Ashley
Mary E. Ashley
eur %.Co`
